Covid Response

I am offering both virtual and in-person therapy services.  For virtual sessions, I use a free app called Telehealth by Simple Practice, which has been working well and is user-friendly.

If you prefer to meet in-person, I respectfully ask that you have proof of vaccination. Currently my clients and I are wearing masks in sessions, but hoping to drop that as the number of cases decreases. I don't mean to make judgments about people's personal medical choices, I'm just trying to stay healthy. I have 60+ clients, and being self-employed means I don't have paid time off. So getting sick means a lot of people don't get mental health support, and I'm out potentially a week or two (or more?) of wages. So no judgments at all about your choice to vaccinate, just trying to protect myself, my family, and my clients.

If clients have any symptoms, such as congestion, coughing, etc., I ask clients to stay home and meet virtually until those symptoms are gone or they have a negative covid test.

I work in a smaller-sized office building that has minimal foot traffic, and my office is on the main floor, so no need for an elevator or stairwell where there might be close proximity to others. If you forget a mask, I have disposable masks available. I also have hand sanitizer available. I wipe down surfaces with disinfectant on a daily basis, and door handles between clients.

If you have questions please let me know.
